Elsewhere: A Brief History
I love this story. It's an artists' collaborative in North Carolina started in a 3 story 'thrift store' that is actually the collection of DECADES worth of thingamabobs, watchmacallits, buttons, dolls, dried out pens stuffed in ziplock bags, toys, dishes and clothing ad nauseam. The artists that reside here use the space and it's contents to create art from consumer detritus surplus.
